ICIM10 Student Paper Contest

Student Paper Awards will be given for the best student presentations in the Poster session. Students will present their work to the Paper Contest judges for evaluation during the Poster session. All students, undergraduate and graduate (MS and PhD), may participate.

Contest Entry

To enter the contest, send an email to icim10student-contest@m.aist.go.jp by July 31, 2008. The subject of the email should be 'Student Paper Contest Entry' and the body of the message should contain the following information:

  1. Student name
  2. Paper number (To obtain your paper number, check your paper status by clicking on the Check Paper Status link)
  3. Country of his/her affiliation

If a student has a paper accepted for Oral presentation, he or she also may enter the Paper Contest by sending the email described above. The student must present the same paper in both the Oral and Poster sessions. However, the student does NOT have to submit a separate Poster paper; a spot will be reserved in the Poster session to present the paper as part of the Paper Contest.

If a student is giving more than one paper, the student must select one paper for the contest.

The number of awards given will be proportional to the number of entries in the contest.
